HEL has built new public toilets ,deep tube-wells and community managed drinking water tanks for the localities in the panchayat area .This has improved health & sanitation of the local community.

HEL organizes health referral centers in the villages on a weekly basis and provides direct assistance to the population who are suffering from health issues. With the direct collaboration of government hospitals, HEL extends help for treatment of major illnesses of people that requires financial support. HEL also contributes to district and sub divisional hospitals' infrastructural improvement.
Besides regular health check-ups, adolescent school going girls are educated on reproductive health. Easy access to use of sanitary napkins from vending machines in schools has also been done.
