Discharged Process Water Quality
At Haldia Energy Limited,effluent from different processes is collected in a central monitoring water basin. The water of the basin is tested and chemically treated before discharge.Online monitoring system continuously monitors the water quality parameters before & during discharge to ensure that the quality is within the permissible limit set by the state Pollution Control Board.
Domestic Sewage water treatment
The domestic waste water is treated is a separate treatment plant having capacity of 16,000 ltrs per day that has been made to conserve water resource and minimize waste. 100% domestic waste water is now treated and recycled back for plantation development and in sprinklers to minimize fugitive emission.
